We graduated as writers to a new type of writing. Today we started our unit on How To writing. We looked at some different how to books, brainstormed some ideas and wrote how to make an ice cream sundae as a class. This afternoon we made some ice cream sundaes following our directions that we wrote on how to do it. The kids loved it! Tomorrow they will begin to write a how to of their own.
We also had a visit from Zero the Hero! We have been in school eighty days!
